The Summit is a vibrant, growing church that is expanding to make room for our neighbors, co-workers, children, grandchildren, classmates and the people we see each day in our community that do not have a church home. We are on our journey toward building a facility that will house the ministries that will touch lives and make disciples for Christ.
We feel that at this time the most prudent step we can take on this journey of moving toward the summit is building on debt free land. We would like to personally invite you to be intentional in your prayers as we move forward in this campaign. Please review the letters that have recently gone out to the church as well as Questions and Answers that will provide more information about this move to the future.
How to pledge:
You can make a pledge by filling out an estimate of giving card that you receive by mail at the beginning of July or that are available at the church, or you can follow this link to set up your own recurring account that will serve as an estimated giving card (by doing this it is not necessary to fill out a hard copy).
Please note, the “Imagine” Campaign to retire debt was a very successful campaign is now concluded. Our present focus is on the Moving toward the Summit endeavor to pay off the debt on the land.
Please take a moment to click here to set up your pledged giving electronically. Go to "Make a Gift" - "Give Now" - and then select "Moving Toward the Summit" ...

JANET AND JERRY VAUGHN

Jerry is in choir and Men of Note. Janet is in orchestra and Summit Flutes. We both attend Bible Study. Jerry serves on Master Planning Task Force. Janet serves on Communication/Change Mgmt./Strategy teams for the "Redefining Church" process. Janet also serves on the Summit Lunch Volunteer team. We both serve on Moving Toward the Summit Leadership Team. In the past Jerry has served on finance and stewardship teams.
2. What service do you prefer attending? We attend the traditional services, usually the 11:00, but several times a month, we may attend both the 8:15 and the 11:00.
3. Share with us something from the following (pick one or two):
What are your hopes for the future of the church? We want the church to continue being a dynamic force in the community, and hopefully to increase that involvement and reach more people with the good news of Christ. As a church body, we hope for continued growth in unity toward caring for one another, as well as meaningful outreach to those who are not our members.
Why did you find it important to help in the leadership for this campaign? We believe that reducing our debt is crucial, and if we can be of help in that endeavor, we want to do so.
What have you experienced at the Summit that has made the church feel like your church home/family?
We have experienced the care and love of church members and friends, particularly in times of special needs, such as health-related issues. On a weekly basis, it is heart-warming and supportive to experience the relationships with our fellow church members.
It is truly satisfying to be a part of a church family who has so many people dedicated to the work of Christ, here in this community and beyond.
MARY AND DEAN ORR
